When pulling out of a bumpy junction, I've noticed the rear-end sways/rocks/waddles side-to-side a little, then settles more or less immediately
After seeing another Hawk, I notice I do not have fitted Anti-tramp Bars & Panhard Rod for the MGB rear axle
Is this a likely reason?
Can anyone tell me where else other than Hawk, I can order what is necessary for me to fit these - I fancy trying
I've called Hawk cars - they do an "Anti-tramp Bars & Panhard Rod (MGB rear axle) Std Kit" for £275 + VAT does that sound a reasonable price?
Apparently a lug needs to be welded to each plate at the bottom of the leaf springs and he will need the plates to do this or exchange them for ones he may have.
Does that make sense to anyone?
Does anyone have any photos of this 'lug'
I tried to take some photos of the other Hawk car, but they did not come out!
Like I said, I'd like to 'have-a-go' myself
How difficult would this be to do? I'll get the ride height lowered at the same time.
Obviously I'd need to remove this 'plate' and get someone else, such as Hawk, to weld on these 'lugs'
or just hand the car over to Hawk and get them to do it all.
