Good god. That's a price!

Wish he'd proof read his ads. WTF is "cold drain tube"? :)

Nice looking car. If it were me I would have changed those blue silicone hoses before advertising. It's meant to be an authentic looking car.

I wonder what it will actually sell for though. The £55k after all is only an asking price.

Agreed. A punchy price for a 351 too.

Quite a few bits that aren't ideal but I'm sure it'll be a nice car.

It'll be very interesting to see if it sells. Many of the £50k plus cars are still sat on the market many months later as we all well know. good news for values though (unless you are a buyer....) if it does sell

Cheers

Paul

nice scoop.. is that a standard crendon item?

Quite fancy that for mine.. although I suspect by reputation that John wont sell bits to non crendons!

I suspect it is. It looks the same as mine had. I think you are right about Mr Kerr though. He's possibly going to reserve them for his "babies"

That's if he does anymore. They could just end up being ornaments

Is it me, or from the side does it look like it been kicked up the Arse? More like a 4x4 from the back!
Surely not all Crendons look like that?

Shitty pictures. It really doesn't look like that in real life.
I had 24, 43 and now 66. None of them look like that and they all come from the same mold.

Neil O protests too much, after all it's widely known in the south west that he has a pert bottom!!! :-):-):-P

I am led to believe that AK used to make the bodies for Crendon before he went to make his own. When did the changeover take place/ Perhaps this explains the perky bottom look compared to my very own lard arse...

Cheers,

Tony

No.23 was the first SC body made by John Kerr I believe.
It was Wilf Leek's car.

Fair enough. I thought Wilf's and No.24 were there first two but maybe No.22 was before them.
I also thought that the first big block car was after a couple of small block cars ie 23 and 24.
Interesting......

Mine side on

Nothing wrong with that one....prob a shade higher than other makes but the THT car seems to be much higher (optical illusion?)

Or maybe just very poorly setup ? as they are adjustable shacks on these cars.

I would have mine sitting a little lower at the rear than the one above.
Crendons drive best when set up to John Kerr's spec.
Front usually needs winding up a little after running in for a while because the shocks etc settle down.
Same for all replicas really.

Worth noting that "Shelby Pepper Grey" as it is described doesn't actually exist as an original colour. It's a colour created for the Eleanor mustang in "Gone in 60 seconds" so is neither a Cobra nor a Mustang original colour. It has a very apparent green tint which doesn't show up well in pics but does in real life.

Worth knowing in case having "original" colours or a car being green rather than grey bothers you

There'll be a Contemporary appearing on there soon.
Waiting with baited breath to see how much for.
