Hi,

I should say : The BNL Coupe could build on an extended Dax 427 chassis IRS or De Dion & CC&AR.

Te one on the picture is build on extended De Dion CC&AR chassis.

Looks gorgeous. What size wheels have you got on that? They look like 15"s (which I thought wasn't the done thing on the De Dion..)

Ooh, come to think of it those wheels look like real knock-ons, too? Knock-on 15"s on a De Dion chassis.. You have my attention ;)

Hi,

the wheel size is 15" inch. As the customer does want to have "Classic look".

Very nice :)

I ask largely because I'd like to fit 15's (knock-on would be a bonus) to my De Dion, and I'd been trying to work out backspacing and so on. Is the front track of the Daytona slightly wider to allow pin-drive adapters or do you have special pin-drive XJ40 style hubs?

It's really nice though. Maybe next, when/if I ever finish the first one!

Hi john,
like Aaron I'd be interested to know how you achieved knock ons on a De Dion (XJ40) hubs?
I was considering going old school on my current De Dion build.

It looks very nice, although there appears to be something unusual about the tyre/wheel sizes. The fronts seem a little too large and the rears a little too small, but it's probably just the picture.

Well done, great job.

I meant more visually of course, just don't open the bonnet.

Hi,

Front suspention is original Dax CC.
Wheels are Image 15" knock - offs.

Just pin-drive adapters, then? If there's proprietary stuff and you'd rather not say then that's OK too - I'd happily buy parts off you to achieve the same on a regular De Dion 427 :)

Hello John.
can you supply all parts to be able finish the car.
looks fantastic.
Is this in partnership with Dax or separate venture?.
Do you think it would be relatively ease to get through our I. V. A.
sorry for all the questions ,but to build one.
Barry.

Hello Barry,
Thanks for your interest in our Daytona kit.
Partnership wit Dax? Yes. The body and special parts come from us.
Chassis is made by Dax (special, longer De-Dion chassis).
The rest off the parts (brake, elektric, cooling) you can buy from Dax,
they are "normal" 427 part.
IVA is no problem, follow the roules.
John.

And now also on the circuit Zolder - Belgium. According to the customer (and builder) the extended Dax 427 De Dion has superb handling.
