Lovely to meet everyone at Roadford for our Christmas Dinner.

Very friendly group of lovely people and a nice meal as usual.

I took a few photos and when we got home decided to post some up.

Anyone seen my phone? Think I left it at Roadford, damn it!

Anyway, we (Mary and I) wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a very healthy and prosperous New Year.

Cheers all.

Great afternoon spent in great Company

Not many days you get bought beer, dinner and then get to drive a BMW 6 series m sport home as the club leader was too intoxicated to drive back himself

Thanks Chris for arranging everything through the year and for the mention in your speech

Also thanks to Steve and Diane Bassett for organising the Roadford lake menu and the Christmas lunch

Look forward to seeing everyone again in 2018

Well it was an excellent turn out!
Good to catch up with Pete and Sarah at last , they even brought their Cob, which put the rest of us to shame!
Hope you found us welcoming and only marginally sane
Great bunch of folks in the SW - looking forward to 2018 now and a new list of Pubs to visit.
Thanks to Donna and staff at the Roadford lake cafe who coped despite managing to incapacitate 3 chefs!
Thanks Ant for letting me have a few glasses of vino.
I will empty the Suggestion Box and peruse your thoughts !!!
Merry Christmas and lets sort a great and busy 2018

Thanks to all for your excellent welcome at Roadford. Sorry we couldn't stay for lunch - had to be back in Liskeard by 14.00. The Cob has been washed and polished following the somewhat damp journey home! Look forward to seeing everyone again after the winter. Have to say that of the various owners clubs we have joined over the years, this one is by far the most friendly and welcoming! Have a great Christmas all!

Careful, their initiation ceremony can be quite worrying........

Who's that 'photobombing' thru the bar serving hatch in last pic?
T'was indeed a very enjoyable afternoon and again thanks must go to Steve and Dianne for organising it. Also our heat-felt gratitude to Chris for all his hard work throughout the year organising meets. Must be a logistical nightmare considering the size of the SW region and hence the scattering of the members across it. As Chris is prone to say, 'it's like herding cats.'
Enjoyed Chris's wine infused after-dinner talk. Made his always humourous remarks all the more drier and very funny indeed (and thanks too for the mention of my fledgling kit car manufacturing business. Any publicity is greatly appreciated.)

Andy.
