I don't think getting a life is the point.

I am not personally offended by any of the avatars I have seen on this site, But others around me may be. As I said I work in a busy office with male and female staff. The last thing I want is for this site to be blocked by the IT department due to a few peoples choice of avatars. I certainly wouldn't start looking for Porn sites at work or in front of the family so why should we have it here? OK it's not that bad here yet but maybe in the future....

For those of you worried about getting clobbered by your IT department fascisties, I wouldn't worry. I would worry far more about breaching the fair use policy by pratting around on forums when you should be working. MikeT's bare arse avatar isn't porn for crying out load, it's just an arse. Now if it was a front bottom that would be over the top for a forum such as this in my opinion. Still wouldn't offend me however.

Can't believe this has been brought up as a topic on here, no room for the PC brigade in my world.

I think maybe Mike's avatar is a bit near the knuckle, but it doesn't bother me. I don't have to worry about some spotty dickhead in the IT department blocking the site though.
I consider this an adult site really, but can see Dave's point if his kids are looking over his shoulder.
