Obscene Avatars

Is the current trend for increasingly obscene Avatars a good thing? I tend to look at the club site while my wife is working on her PC next to me, I now find myself having to quickly navigate away from certain threads due to the distastful nature of some members avatars when she looks over. I also feel lucky I dont yet have kids to ask "whats that lady doing without any knickers on?"
Not to mention I actually find some of them offensive. Starting to sound like an old man now, well at least not a dirty old man....

Personally I'm not bothered by them but I can see your point about kids and stuff.

I always liked this forum due to the self constraint of it's members. It's rare that you see swearing or obscene language on these pages and if it's necessary most people abbreviate it with stars and other symbols.

I look at these pages during tea breaks and lunch breaks at work and working in an office with other people and female staff I too ocasionally find myself leaving posts due to the avatars.

Just my opinion, But lets keep it work and family safe please.

Craig.

Funny this should come up as I had a comment from someone at work while browsing at lunchtime today. I do not mind but it does make using at work a bit difficult for me.

Maybe I will put a naked calendar up in my office tomorrow and see what happens. My ar$e might land in the HR directors office me thinks

What is seen as OK depends on the type of working environment.

Certainly no worse than some of the avatars on most car sites, And a lot less than can be seen in the Daily Press/Tv Ads etc. Some of the "Offending Avatars" actually belong to female members so they can't be that offended Come On Guys (and gals) If this country gets anymore PC we may as well GIVE UP! Chill Eh
