Increase in fuel duty

Someone told me that fuel duty will increase by 2.35p per litre from tonight. Expect the prices at the pumps to go in the next few days. Obviously something that Gordon Brown forgot to mention at his party conference speech last week!

Anyway if your Cobra fuel tank is as pathetically small as mine then it possible won't make much of a dent on the wallet. However you rich buggers out there might want to top up the Bentley.

Cheers,
Russ.

Not sure "forgot" is the right terminology for someone with no mandate

If the weather continues in this vein, none of us will be buying any fuel until next summer...
