Got to agree with you, all our politicians (especially Brown) are hardly honest and trustworthy; Brown particularly is a weak and manipulative liar IMHO.
But in truth the relatively small amount of nepotism and tax infidelities we see here really pales into insignificance when looking at 3rd world politicians; Robert Mugabe is happily buying weapons ready for civil war and already murdering opponents that beat him in an election, and the minister for fraud in China has been caught for embezzling over £2m!!! (28,000,000RMB)
Add to that no health service, mass poverty, widespread food shortages, lack of clean water, massive road deaths (china alone has 140 road deaths a day), chronic infrastructure and state control at every level of life; now thats what you call 3rd world!!!

Oh come on, thats an easy mistake to make, he was simply fulfilling his job description.

Now if he had been called the "Minister against Fraud" they would have a right to complain.

Cheers,

Tony

So should our "Defence Minister" learn kick-boxing, or the "Home Secretary" come and sort out my utility bills?

Wilf, you make me laugh !

I work in HR... the real world business type, not the council/twaddle kind. If a white anglo saxon hetrosexual christian male is the best person for the job, the grass hopper can go to hell !

Got home from hols in Tenerife early hours Weds morning, East Mids airport. The flight that landed just before us from Gambia had someone on board who was 'highly contagious' (they didnt tell us what it was) so the airport authority immediately quarantined the leper or whatever along with all the staff who had any contact with him, then thoughtfully herded the rest of the passengers from the contagious flight into the same room as us for passport checks! One rule for them etc etc
