I think everyone should vote for Labour in the hope that the fat ba5tard waste of space of a prime minster that we have at the moment has a huge heart attack with the shock of being voted in and pops his cloggs

Labour is a minority in this private poll () but I think overall it still reflects the average result anyway.

But they will still find a way to win it... you watch

The BNP are not standing in our area, just labour, cons, libdem and the green party, not much choice there.
Cheers

It would be reasonable to have a "None of the above" box on the political ballot paper. Then we could use our vote, and, at the same time let it be known that none of them are good enough to represent us, if that's how you feel.

You shouldn't have to use your vote to select the 'least worst' of a bunch of loonies. I've been too close to politicians for the last umpteen years to trust any of them. You know they are lying when you see their lips moving.

I would prefer a town run by a 'competent management set up' and avoiding all politicians. We could vote for a reinstatement of the current manager, or could vote for a different one. At all times we would avoid the back-biting, point scoring, politically correct ego trips of local politicians - who always seem to forget why they are there (until the next election).

I hear that in Florida (don't know about the rest of the states) if "none of the above" should win an election then the 'other' candidates are formally barred from public office - they been voted off.

I believe that Australia has a law that says you have to vote.
Maybe if that was the case here, things might be more critical for the polititions.
By not voting, you can be helping the people you really don't want in power.
Just vote for the least worse in your opinion, but vote.

Correct Neil. And I think it should be law here. Look at the poor sods in some of the African states that have literally given their right arms for the right to vote. We have had that right for years and we should use it.

I'll vote for the first candidate that abolishes tax on petrol for engines over 350CI.
