Hello All

Hi Gents and Ladies if there are any.
Good to be here. Im a huge huge huge passionate fan of V8's. It so happens that the beyond beautiful V8 Chopper you have been kindly talking about is mine.
Thanks for your compliments and yes your right it is absolutely beautiful. Let me assure you all that the chain can more than handle the power. Most of my V8 Bikes i have had have been chain instead of belt. Obviously there is pros and cons for both but ive never had any problem and even in my 502ci Bike that was 502bhp the chain was strong and worked very well.
The frame of the chopper actually acts as the guard so dont worry no legs or heads will be ripped off hehe. Im happy to answer any questions on it!
I actually have a 302ci bored Nascar prep'd Cobra engine in my trike. Il post some pictures. Its due for a overhaul and im getting the whole trike looking as it should and running right with some new carbs etc The previous owner wasnt quite up2 spec with looking after it and maintaining it very well but a nice chap.

Thanks again all and talk soon

Jimbo

Trike

Hi Jimbo,

Firstly I have to congratulate you on this stunning creation, I have always been wary of chains though, but that said you obviously know what you are talking about,I also love V8s but more so in a Cobra as opposed to a Trike, I have a few Trikes and currently have a lowly XV1100 Yam Trike, which to be truthfull has enough grunt for an old git like me ha ha, I cant imagine what yours goes like but it looks bloody good fun, what a way to die eh,.
PS no Ladies or Gents on here just petrolheads.

Thanks so much Alfie. Yes it really is a beautiful thing and phenomenally fast but not dangerous. You just to respect the power and use it accordingly like with anything. A 427 Cobra or a 50cc Honda Vision lol You glide round corners in it and have some fun on the straights if all is clear! 1/4 mile in 11 seconds says it all.
Yes Trikes certainly are fun just like kit cars or and special machine. Im a fan of the mall to be honest but the heart must be a V8!

Thanks again Alfie talk soon i hope

Jimbo
