Hi and welcome!!
Ironically there is another Cob forum Snaketorque - the cobra replica forum and message board - Index and I think the owner of that forum has a P4 (Penello??) small world.
What engine/tranny lives in P4 rep??

Funny you should say that - that was the 'dodgy link' I put in my previous post.
And Yes, I'm well aware of that other owner, and his Noble P4. He's an ex-member of my forum (too).
His car is Cossie Turbo powered. Ironic too, that he wrote this on your forum a few years back:

http://www.cobraclub.com/forum/62542-post2.html

Mine ? - almost 'stock' Renault PRV V-6 - the way Lee Noble used to build them (back when).
If you scroll to post #39 (of that SuperCars.net thread), from the link in post #3 - full spec' is there.

In an ideal world (and with a small lottery win), I think I'd like to upgrade it to a Ferrari 348 V-8 set-up, which a few Noble P4 owners have done now. Maybe with TWM throttle bodies and Motec, too, just to pretty it up. But that's a (very expensive) pipe dream.

I am indeed.

That's partly the reason I worded my first post thus:

I was only being friendly, I thought he could get the angle on cobs from a fellow P4 owner...

On a similar but tangential note - I read somewhere recently that Lee Noble has now fallen out with the new (American) owners of Noble Cars and has left? Anyone know any more?

Steve. Yes - I fully realize that. No worries.
You weren't to know, but I've taken 'a bit' of a mauling / back-stabbing / character assassination on 'snaketorque' (aptly named).

The owner of that Noble P4 - a.k.a. 'smash' has abused his (or any 'normal' forum admistrator's) privileges on there, by editing my profile; signature; post content - to suit his own twisted ends.

I don't know his past history on here, but he effectively 'banned himself' from my P4 Replica BB forum, by deleting his user ID.
One of the reasons I walked over to the Cobra Replica Club stand at Stoneleigh, last weekend, was to confront him ....
.... and possibly try to offer a 'flag of truce'. But as it turned out, he wasn't there anyway - Maybe just as well ....

Wilf I think all the rumours are here:

Lee Noble has left the building...

Yes, it's true. Lee apparently parted company (leaving under a cloud) with Noble Cars, as far back as February this year.

There's a (long) thread in the Noble section on Pistonheads (Gassing Station), entitled:

Lee Noble has left the building... (Google it). I'd put in a direct link, but you know how it is.

Edit: You beat be to it, Steve !
