The wireless is a wonderous device made for transmitting information and entertainment around the whole world .... I don't think johnny foreigner has to pay to listen to a 25 year old Elton John record ... even if all his mates are gathered around his transistor (even if they in fact are rocking with crocodiles)

LOL yeah thats what I guessed; so why I suggested you change the screen settings, I dont have to scroll for any of the posts on this or any other thread on a 17" monitor!!!

LOL Im sure youre right, but my original point, somewhat lost in the hysteria of some impending mythical; almost apocolyptic, 'listening to radio tax' scenario is that its old news, decades old news, not even news in fact....my local barber had a 'PRS' sticker in his window when I was sitting on the kids box in his seat in the late 60's having my basin cut; I know 'cos I asked him what it meant, but along what I really wanted to ask him was what those funny packets with 'Durex' on them were; but I daren't...I sat and mused for the length of my style challenged haircut, and decided that as the packet did say electronically tested they were probably replacement record player stylii...sadly thats a true story; do you think kids today would be so niaive!!!

I have always wanted to know exactly HOW johnnies are "electronically tested"? Is there some indefatigable electric dick out there somewhere that has tested billions of the things? Just how would the flow or otherwise of electrons through latex/polyeurethane (insulators surely?) simulate the conditions inside a, a, you know, a ladies part and ensure impregnability?

This involves each condom being stretched over a metal former and subjected to a high voltage. Any breakdown of the film is measured and any minor flaw, even one far too small to be detected by the human eye, results in the condom being instantly rejected.
