vinyl car covering

Just saw this on a site, quite clever...

My black M3 wrapped in white vinyl - Detailing World

German Taxis use this method. They use standard production coloured Mercedes and cover them with cream vinyl. That way when they come to sell them the vinyl is removed and it isn't a cream coloured Mercedes any more.

suppose this would be good to cover a gel coat instead of a spray, you could even get the stripes etc put on. must be cheaper in the long run, approx £1500 + vat for a family car, must be less for a cobra given the smaller surface area to cover.

Wonder if we will see any with large imaged cobra's on the doors or bonnets

I know on the main site it says £1500, but on the 1st link, the BMW owner said it was about £750 for his
