Anyone else secretly enjoying the Olympics?

    As above really?
I'm in South Wales but was impressed with quality of the ladies football and still am.
Find myself watching more than I expected.
    Loving the cycling.

Yep, me too. Great to see GB doing so well. Shows what you can do when you invest properly in sport.

particularly enjoying upsetting the cheese eating surrender monkeys who seem to think we've had Maclaren build us some magic bicycles.

I'm openly loving it. Best thing on telly for a while and what a run up to the weekend that was!!! Records being broken and plenty of close comebacks! White water rafting was mental.
Hopefully plenty of new role models for kids, less of the Jordan types and no "hand flappy chappies" either! Well appart from one commentator....

Really enjoying it, and as I went in hospital last Friday for an opp I can spend all day watching it and am really enjoying it instead of just getting really bored. What will we watch when it is all over ??

I've not been watching much, but the team showjumping had me on the edge of my seat yesterday afternoon especially when my friend, Scott Brash, won gold.
    Cheers, Clive

I particularly like the irony that the magic wheels are actually made in France!!

    Name dropper.

I think it's brilliant. When the number of medals won are considered as a ratio of the size of the population, Team GB is well out in the lead. Although they have done brilliantly in cycling and rowing, there is actually a pretty good spread of sports, whereas the U.S., who are currently second in the medal table don't look anywhere near as impressive if you exclude swimming.

Everyone concerned should be thoroughly proud of themselves, even, albeit grudgingly, Mr Coe (I still can't bring myself to call him Lord Coe).
