Suspension settings

just a quick question for all you technical guru,s out there. My early Crendon is running 15" wheels with 215/235 section Goodyear Eagle tyres. The front suspension settings are still as set from Crendon but i feel that the steering in particular is very vague and there is not a lot of self centreing action. Has anybody played with their settings and found a set up which works well. Next year i want to get to Thunder road cars and have a proper set up done by Cheng.

The front suspension geometry could well have moved about a bit with time, and not be within spec any more.m Only takes one clout of a kerb or speed hump to upset it.

If you have a vagueness, could well be lack of self centering, caused by too little toe in or too little castor, both of which are v easy to adjust.

One thing I find in my Crendon is that it tracks straight very well and has great steering feel, no reason yours cannot be the same.

Have a chat with John Kerr. He'll probably re-set it up for you. He may even be cheaper than Cheng.
