stone guards

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know of an alternative supplier of rear arch stone guards? As I have had mine on order from Dax for more then six months! Any ideas welcome.

Many thanks

Dave

PS: The ones from Europa do not fit, so I have been told.

Re: stone guards

Dave, know exactly how you feel, I've been waiting for mine for months as well.

Hopefully DB Dave might know of an alternative as he has to keep producing cars and so can't afford to be held up be Dax's inability to supply.

Re: stone guards

There is no alternative........That I know of, if |I did I would tell Dax and Dax would buy from them.
Stainless steel Stone guards should be available from Dax pretty soon.
I have 16 pairs on back order!!!!

Re: stone guards

Hi Craggle,

Any update on the stoneguards from Dax, can you post a pic.

I am interested in knowing of both sides are the same size as the Chrome on copper ones I originally got from Dax are different on each side.

Regards
Chris

Re: stone guards

Hi Chris

Sorry I didn't reply sooner to this but I completely forgot about this post.

The new Stone guards from Dax are Excellent. A perfect fit and made from mirror polished stainless. I mean mirror polished as well! They are as reflective as the bathroom mirror.

I have no pictures yet as I am still waiting to fit them after the paint work is completed.

They both look the same shape but it is a bit hard to tell until they are both fitted.

Craig.

Re: stone guards

Hi Dave

I was going to use Wurth adhesive.

It was my plan to remove the wheels and then place a bead of wurth about 1/2" - 1" inside the edges of the stone guard them fit them and carefully clamp in place and leave for a day.

They should never come of again after that!

Craig.
