Dax Remote Resevoir Cap

Hi, does anyone know which vehicle I can get a cap off so that I can use my ezibleed as none of the standard caps that are supplied with the kit fit the resevoir?

Re: Dax Remote Resevoir Cap

Hi John,
There are quite a few other caps available for the ezi-bleed that do not come with the kit. Your suppplier should be able to get them for you. I got mine through Halfords. Took a couple of days & only cost a few quid.

Re: Dax Remote Resevoir Cap

Be very careful with Ezi-Bleed If the cap is not on good enough the pressure will cause it to blow off and splash brake fluid around the place.................Usually finding paintwork on its travels.

Re: Dax Remote Resevoir Cap

I always use mine just to pressurize the system. IE don't fill the bottle with fluid. You have to keep an eye on the level and keep it topped up, But it saves 1/2 litre of brake fluid getting pumped around under the bonnet in the event of a mishap. And you don't have to remove the excess fluid from the reservoir at the end

Re: Dax Remote Resevoir Cap

Cheers fellas have encountered all the pitfalls before and don't have any paint yet Dave!

Trouble is I can't find a cap to fit the Dax supplied resevoir.

Went to Halfords today who are going to phone Gunson for me tomorrow to get one.
