Clutch master cylinder

Guys,

I am not sure as to which of the Dax clutch master cylinders I should buy. I am installing a Chevy small block 350 with a Tremec TKO 500 gearbox. Should I use the 3/4" or 7/8 bore? I presume the larger bore will provide greater assistance to clutch operation.

Thanks

Re: Clutch master cylinder

I had to use the 7/8 with the Tremec, but that was with the repower conversion. Should be the same though.

By the way - are you really doing 430 HP with a 350. I'd ask for the dyno sheet if I were you. When you get it, look at how the power is delivered - if you want a motor that is OK in traffic you may have to advance the cam timing somewhat if it is that radical a cam.

Mine was a pig with the full performer RPM package and that was only putting out around 400 BHP. I've been told from members that fuel injection will improve a very wild cam, but I dont know by how much.

What set up are you on - cam CR etc.
