Chevy Small Block Engine Mount Bolts

Anybody know the size and type of bolt I need for my Chevy small block engine mounts? There are 3 tappings on the block for each engine mount.

Not sure if it is 5/16" UNC or 3/8" but it is UNC

I got the mounts from Dax but they didn't come with any bolts....? I don't know or they supposed too?

They'll be in your really useful Dax nut & bolt pack........................................NOT!!! !!!!!

I have never bought my engine mkounts from Dax, I get them with the engines.
The Dax nut and bolt pack is actually quite good, so long as you get the full version, the body only one is pants.

I got the full version , chassis, body the lot. However half of the bolts and nuts aren't marked and in random packets. So to the clueless beginner it is a nightmare trying to work out what is for where, etc.

I had a word with Peter Walker today. He told me the engine mount bolts are 3/8 UNF.?? I looked at the thread on the block and I would be inclined to agree with you. Can you confirm that they are 3/8 UNC? If so I shall tell Dax not to send me the wrong bolts and send UNC instead.

deffo 3/8"UNC. Peter must be due for a holiday.
