| Tremec compatible gear shift Hi All Does anyone know where I can get a gear shift to suit a Tremec TKO 500? Do Dax do one? Thanks

| Re: Tremec compatible gear shift Hi Bogster, If you are looking for a cheap gear lever, than Dax can supply one that works fine. If however, you want the correct 427 style forward canted lever, with dummy reverse lockout t-piece, complete with bakelite gear knob, trim ring and rubber gaitor, then the companies that Wilf mentioned can supply. I got mine from Hawk Cars. Cost including VAT and postage £221-not cheap!

| Re: Tremec compatible gear shift Thanks guys, I called Simon today and the shifter is winging its way to me as I type. :thumb: I'll go with the Dax shifter for now but appreciate the other info for the replica cobra shifter. £220....Holy Smoly bat man! You would want it to change gear for you for that price!

| Re: Tremec compatible gear shift does look a bit pricey doesnt it, although quite a complicated thing to make well. Ive got a Pro 5.0 billet shifter on my TKO, very nice and smooth motion too, too nice to hide under a leather boot anyway!
