Dax Windscreen Wiper Holes

Hi All,

I called Autobrass and they are going to have my windscreen in 4 weeks time! Fantastic!!!

I've been waiting until the windscreen comes so that I can cut the holes through the body for the windscreen wipers. But do I need to wait?

Does anyone have measurements I can use so that I can go ahead and install the windscreen wiper mechanism (well all bar the wiper arms and wipers).

Thanks for the help. :drive: :thumb:

Its not worth rushing it. Wait till the sscreen come and use the dax method. I think you will find that the back of the chrome housing just touches the screen rubber and if you get it wrong.

Re: Dax Windscreen Wiper Holes

With a 34" screen rake your windscreen rubber will be 150mm back from the bonnet recess edge where the wiper wheel boxes fit. But as Mikey says there is no need to rush unless SVA is looming.
