Over the Moon!

Hi all

What a feeling!

Just had my electrics tested and apart from a faulty voltage stabiliser unit everything is A OK - had visions of smoke, fire and worse

The only thing that was a worry was how close the wiring to the starter motor is to the the headers

Unfortunately, the spade connector is about half inch from the header so I can't see how I can get it any further away

Any ideas?

Happy and smiling

Warren

Warren. I used a product called Thermo Sleeve. Available from the likes of Europa/Demon Tweeks/Merlin Motorsport etc

You can get spade connectors that are angled at 90 degrees to point the wire out the side.

What type of engine and starter have you got? I have a mini Hi torque starter on my chevy and the motor can be rotated on the mounting block to place the solenoid at the bottom away from the headers.

Craig.

Thanks Chris and Craig

I'll look at both these options
