| I just used a normal Contact adhesive such as Evo-Stick. I believe there is one that allows you a while to position it before it sets but can't remember what it is called. Avoid spray adhesives as in my experience they don't work. Craig.

| Normal Evostik impact can be moved slightly for a few minutes. Be sure to use it in a well ventilated place, though... I had some vivid dreams after gluing upside down in the footwells... Second the comment about spray adhesives - not really worth it

| I would agree with all of this. Avoid spray types and go for Evostick everytime. Bob |

| I borrowed some carpet tape from work which is like double sided gaffer tape and really sticky - not sure how securely that would hold stuff down but probably easier to apply...

| For a full car you'll need around 2 litres. brush it on the car and use a body filler spreader to apply it to the back of your carpet. Allow both to tack off and then press firmly together. And if you don't have a well ventilated area to work in you WILL be slobbering and stoned for an hour or so.

When i was shop-fitting we used to stick fifty pence pieces to the pavement out side the shop with that tape. Each one lasted for around 40 adults or one very determined child but great fun watching folks trying to pick it up without being noticed |
