Body Assymetry

Just about to bolt/glue body to chassis but need confirmation on one aspect. The nearside front is about 12mm higher than the offside (measured from top of wing to floor). This means the n/s headlight centre is about 8mm higher than the o/s. I'm inclined to just bolt it all down rather than try to put a bit of twist in the front section to even things up. Does any one have a better idea? Thanks.

Incidentally, I removed the six flanges from the front inner wings, which fix the body to the chassis. They were all over the place - wrong angles, too high/low, too far apart or too close. I'll fabricate alloy angle plates and bolt all together using s/s screws so that the GRP is sandwiched between my new plates and the alloy bulkhead sections. Thanks for everyone's comments (and sympathy).

There is a quite a long thread covering this (Im assuming its a Dax build with the words body fitting/glue and rivet being used-I dont know any other cobra rep kit maker use this technique)

I would leave it alone. 8mm difference in height of headlights? You'll never notice it when finished. You will never get the Dax body to be perfectly aligned on the chassis. I know, I've tried. I have posted quite a lot of info on the alignment of the scuttle hoop bolt holes with the chassis, this is important but your kit may not have the mis-aligment problem mine had.
