Dax Door sill kick plates

Guys,

Just a word of advice for when you go to buy the Dax door sill kick plates. You may want to look else where.

From Dax they come as flat stainless steel plate with one side curved 90 degrees. They do not fit the shape of the door opening and you have to very carefully bend, fit, check, bend, fit, check, etc, etc until they finally look ok. The edges are also square and sharp therefore needing rounded off. I was disappointed (considering they cost so much) to find that all they are is a bit of stainless steel plate cut to length, probably cost Dax the best part of a £1 each. They retail for around £40 including postage.

With hindsight I would have sourced elsewhere.

Dodgy DAX bits

This goes for a lot of DAX bits! Thats why my car has so few of them. Been dealing with DJ for 22 years now and still not really impressed with them.
