Speedo Cable Length

I have Tremec TKO500 gearbox and SW gauge. Speedy Cables are making up a speedo cable for me but need to know the length. Can anyone advise? Thanks

Hi Bob,

Try to do a mock run using a piece of pipe or cable etc, to get the length.

Try not to make it too short though, don't have any tight bends especially at the ends, have some slack for nice flowing bends.

When I got my Cobra, the cable had tight turns in it causing the needle to waver lots, and eventually snapping.

Cheers,

Thanks Mark. What I have eventually done is avoid a mechanical speedo. Speedy Cables have managed to convert my mechanical speedo to electronic and this will acept an electronic signal from my new Tremec gearbox.
