Question Wiring Up Finishline Fan Kit

Evening All,

I have just received my twin fan kit from FL for the front nose cone.
Looks the biz & looking forward to fitting it.

Anyone got a diagram showing how to wire it up so that they only come on when the main fan does but with a switch in the dash to over-ride?

Thx

Hello
I propose to you a shematic diagram that is usually available for a single fan, but you can use it if you want to start and stop both fans simultaneously (only one thermal switch to monitor both in parallel). If you want to start (or stop) both fans separately with different temperature setting, you have to provide a double thermal switch and a double relay. With this diagram, the over ride switch is working even if your main key switch is in off position. The main difficulty is to install your thermal switch at the right place (as close as possible near your cooling water cylinder head output).
Hope this sketch can help you

I just T'ed into my existing 16" puller fan wiring and added an additional in-line fuse.
