Seat orientation

Been following all the advice given in previous threads re fixing seat to frame to floor etc (good idea of DB's to thread the frames), but before I finally bolt the frame to the floor can someone confirm that the seats should NOT sit parallel to the chassis? It looks to me as if they both turn outwards so that the front ends point outwards - by quite a margin in fact. This way, the seats nestle better between the tunnel and wheel arches and also seem to point better towards the pedals. Thanks again.

Bob

Bob on Bob.
If you twist the runner on the chassis (So that the inner rail better follows the inner chassis rail) before you drill and bolt so that the seat drifts outwards as it slides forward you will be able to have more adjustment of your seat.
