| Fierce heaters? OK, it's getting colder now and I'm running this car all year round. I've got a hard top on order which will be toasty but what's the consensus on a serious heater? So many winter days seem to be perfect for open top motoring (albeit a little too crisp sometimes!) and it would be a shame to miss them Judging by previous topics a Polo Mk II heater is the preferred option but has anyone tried anything stronger? I find that on longer motorway trips with the roof off all the heat disappears from the cabin before I get any benefit. Rather than try to drive a la old biffer (with a picnic blanket over my legs) is there a superior recommendation? Cheers for any advice, Andy |

Take a look at these guy's. I use these and they are great for all types of weather and conditions. I liked them so much I have one of every type and so has all the family. Beware of cheap imitations as they don't seem to have the same quality or warmth or breathable qualities. A must for Cobs http://www.buffwear.co.uk/

| Cheers for the replies guys! I've already got the proper clothing - my Goretex & Kevlar weave bike jacket & trousers are spot on but I won't always be wearing them. In particular as it gets dark in the evenings the temperature really drops and if I'm already out then I don't want to stop to get changed |

| A wee word of warning if you haven't been out for any length of time in the dark, check the fuse ratings of your headlamps. I've heard of several Cobra owners who's fuses have blown leaving them with no headlights because the original ones supplied with the wiring harness were not strong enough.
