Hi Andi.
I always turn the heater box around so that the pipes are pointing into the cockpit, then run the pipes into the engine bay from the back, running along between teh carb and the off side rocker cover.

I have a single hoop roll bar on the drivers side only how high should it stand above the bodywork?

Cheers.

Something to keep DB happy. A spare glass fuel filter and a fuel pipe going over the chassis.

Touchy subject I'm waiting for the elbows from Dax who said they'd send them (probably the bank holiday caused a problem). I wanted them to make sure it was in the right place with enough gap around. They also still owe me a front over rider. Think I'll have to ring again tomorrow.

So instead, I did the hoop bolts, replaced the fuel filter, moved the fuel pipe and put on the demister bits. I bought an expansion tank and some liquid rubber for the wheel arches. Been looking at getting the radiator back in, the bonnet stay brackets and the front lights. Also looked at and ignored the carpet fitting ! That looks a nightmare

There the big rubber elbows for the outlets I assume.

I was wondering if you fitted the heater with the pipes coming out forwards or backwards. I ran my pipes forward out the front of the footwell face.
I mounted my washer bottle in the boot and ran copper pipe through the cockpit area towards the front.

Craig.

Yes, they weren't in the Dax bag when I got around to opening it up.

As suggested by DB I think I'll mount the heater the other way around and feed the pipes out over the engine. Partly because I'd already put the water bottle on that front panel.

Hope you're feeling better BTW.

Andi.

Cheers Andi

Feel much better now and went into work today as normal. Not sure what it was but it wasn't pleasant

Sound's like your car's progressing well now. Whens the SVA date?
Carpet fitting's not too bad really. Lay it all in dry to start with then figure out which bits need to go in first then glue one bit at a time.

Craig.
