I'm going to apply for SVA when the engine is in and I've got it running, I have been told it runs but I haven't seen it and it's never been fully connected up.

If you need help with the start up let us know. If you lay on a barbecue as well you may get quite an audience from local cobra owners!

Hi Andi.
Nice fuel line mod.
You don't need the rubber elbows. They fall out easier than they go in.
Just push the flexi air hose into the heater box a couple of ribs each.
Run the air hoses around the outside of the scuttle hoop and across above the door hinge mounts. (You'll see some suitable gaps once the heater box is in.)

Doh!

Thanks for all the help here Dave, especially the positive things.

I'm really glad I took the engine out

I was thinking of mustering some support.

Andi m8. If you haven't damaged the motor from it's fall it should just start up no probs. As far as I remember a Chevy guy from a Corvette dealer ran it up first time. I can't say more than that as a certain proprietor will get all anal.

Best of luck.

I'll bring a pack of burgers!

I'm currently looking at 21st/22nd June to get the engine back in, then it needs to be connected up so a first start could be 28th/29th.

I'll post a bit closer to the date for those that wish to 'partake'.

Andi.
