| Dunno... it's pissing down here and I had my good jeans on, so couldn't get under the car to follow it back. Could well be a fuel line(?)

| Open pipe Hi, It doesn't look like fuel line to me, looks more like silcone hose ? & definately not brake pipes ( if it was I would say you would certainly have something to worry about ) It's looks like a breather pipe from the battery or gearbox ![]() I presume the car isn't running at the moment ? As suggested above the best thing would be follow the pipe to see where it goes. Don't worry about your good jeans, I used to have some of those but since I bought my Cobra mine are now all ''working trousers'' !!! Regards Phil.

| Looks like a bad case of Chassis Worm infestation to me! I'd get that sorted asap.

| Cheers for the input and light relief chaps! The car IS running (well, not at the moment cuz I've got the plugs and valve covers off, but that's another story). The pipe in the pic is a copper pipe of a bore slightly larger than the brake pipes. It's bone dry, so I'm not sure it's a breather, but dunno! Cheers, Ian.

| The pipe is copper, it was fitted as an additional fuel line to supply a NOS system that was to be fitted by the customer at a later stage. Looks like it never happened. I have had a sleep since then, so might be completely wrong. ![]()
