Good to hear you like the AC embossed in the doors, It's a very old coachtrimming technique taught to me many moons ago by an equally old coach trimmer who took me under his wing. Not something I would like to divulge as I quite frequently emboss all sorts of things (MG, ZX, Porsche etc etc) into peoples seats , door cards etc, and it does bring in a decent amount of work.
As for using the same pegs for the hood, From your post I guess you will have 3 bars/roll hoop, so as long as the pegs are behind whatever bars you have poking through the body then you can use them for a hood, any bars behind these pegs will come outside of the hood. Hope that makes sense.

If any of you could give me an idea on price that would be very useful too.

thanks for the info as always guys,

Hello Jonny

Here is a pic of my tonneau. It's bought from Dax. Good heavy duty zip up the middle, slit for single hoop made at back with velcro fastening which is very snug. Dax supply good fixings as well. I bought the mohair one for a better finish quality and wear. If you want more pics I can post more.

Hi Craig,

Sorry to be a pain but you wouldn't have had the chance to get the pics of your tonneau would you? Would like to show the trimmer tomorrow if possible.

Tell me to p*** off if I'm being a pain!

Jon

Sorry about that. Got a bit side tracked last night and completely forgot.

Here is the Dax supplied tonneau cover. I believe they are made by the trim shop (trim shop)

Try to get the Tenax fasteners rather than the lift the dot ones. Far nicer to use and stay locked once done up.

Craig.

Sorry guys, lost track of this thread a bit last weekend as ended up being far busier than is good for a chap. Still have to get all the jobs done before registration as the chances of them being done afterwards are pretty slight!!

Thanks for the pics, exactly what I was looking for and now spoken to my trimmer who is going to get me a price. I'll let you know...

Jon

I went the same route a Craggle on the Tonneau and Hood (Trimshop) and have to say they are Top Quality Goods and thoroughly recommend them.
