Tonneau Covers

Just thinking about getting a tonneau fitted - does anyone have any pictures of the tonneau cover for the dax? I'd prefer it not to go over the hoops but I'm not sure how possible that is if you want a decent fixing. Also requires two sets of fasteners too I guess when we get round to fitting the hood.

If any of you could give me an idea on price that would be very useful too.

thanks for the info as always guys,

Jon

The Dax one that was fitted to my car worked fine. The only thing I would have added was a popper stud at the front of each door because it sometimes blew up on the corners and let a little rain in.
It did go past the hoops, but this is what you want really to get coverage past the area where rain will just run in under it.

Always try to park facing up hill if leaving your car in the rain too.

As far as I know it is only the GD cover that goes over the roll bars the rest all go around it with Velcro to seal the joints. Works really well. Got no pictures of it but could take some if you want.

Thnaks Scoop for the pictures - unfortunately I have double roll bars with rear stays and I wasn't sure that the velcro system would work as well with that number of holes?

Still it is better than going over the hoops I guess.

Anybody got any more pics / ideas on price?

I have the Dax tonneau with the twin roll hoops and it is indeed velcro'd around the bars. I don't have any photos but if no one posts any before tomorrow evening I will take some.

Craig.

thanks Craig. Does it use the same fasteners as the hood?

BTW Scoop - how did you get the AC impression in the leather? That's very cool and I'm jealous!!

I don't have a hood but I believe they are the same fixings. I have no ferrels or studs along the door tops though. I guess I would need to add a few more fixings if I decide to get a hood one day.

You can probably see the studs I have fitted in the photos in my gallery.

Craig.
