    Thanks for all the photos and info guys.

    Is there any difference between the quality of the LDK and RHP brands of the bearing?

    BEARINGS | SLFL | FLANGED | INSERTS | UNITS | RHP | LDK

    LDK = £10.46
    RHP = £16.27

    Cheers
    John

    For a high load, high use item that you don't want to change too often I'd go for the RHP one.

    For a lightly loaded steering column though that may see a few thousand miles a year, I'm sure the cheaper variety will work just fine.

    Mine came through RS so I think it's the RHP one.

    Hey guys I need to get one of these bushings as my rover rubber bush has given up!
    The shaft is a BMW one and is 15.5mm dia at the point it needs support through the bulkhead. However both ends are splined and the dia's there are approx 18mm. If I get the larger dia bush won't it be loose when positioned on the smaller dia???

    I think you'll find the bearing has 3 grub screws that take up the slack Steve.

    Hi, I ordered the item as above:
    NSK-RHP | Mechanical Components | Bearings and Seals | Bearing Units | Flange Units - NSK |SLFL25
    However, there is only two grub screws in the centre piece, so the shaft won't sit centrally. I asked RS and the chap said they didn't have one with 3 grubs. Do the Bearingboys items have 3???

    I used the one from Bearing Boys as per the attached pic. Works fine.
