Ok for what it's worth, here's my tuppence worth. I think that Simon was more than vague with his description of the item being sold and should have indicated that it would require some modification to fit a Dax, at least then the potential purchaser would have known exactly what he/she was letting themselves in for, insted of being under the impression left that it was a simple bolt on and forget item!
Having experience of dealing with Steve, he appears to me to be as honest as the day is long and do not think that his request is an unreasonable one!

I really hope that you two can sort this out amicably for the good of you both and the secure feeling felt by most when dealing with fellow CRC members.

    Chris,

Thanks am definitely getting that impression. It is a shame that there are people who use this forum just to rip people off, if he had sold it saying it might need modifying then it would of not been a problem. I have ended up buying on from DAX but if don't get my money back then will get his one cut and modified and then either keep as a spare or sell on.

    Regards

    Steve
