    Fastening the dasboard

Is it necessary to fix the lower edge of the Dax dashboard to the centre tunnel,I did on the last Rush I built but it will be difficult to hide any screws with the leather being so light.I used black plastic domed number plate screw covers last time but you could hardly see them against the black leather.Just wondering whether anyone has left them off and if so does the dash rattle or move about.Thanks. John.

I don't think I fixed mine to the tunnel and it never shook or rattled.

    Hi John,

I made a spigot thingy and attached it to the lower face of the dash where it touches the tunnel, then drilled a hole to suit in the top of the tunnel.

you then slot the spigot into the tunnel, and lie the dash back in to position, if that makes any sense!
