RE: helllo

I would find your local glass fibre supplier and take advise from them as a starer.
If you can afford it find a local body shop that deals with TVR's or similar.
If you repair it yourself you will need good quality materials not just Davids Isopon (ok for small jobs.)

RE: helllo

I think you could weld in extra tube to support a second roll bar, but you either have to remove the body (not easy as it's riveted and glued on) or cut away some of the higher part of the boot floor, not a problem. to gain access to the chassis and replicate the other side.

RE: helllo

When I visited Dax a while ago, they were repairing a crash damaged Dax in their shop. Basically, they will manufacture the bit you need, for example the front half of the wing, cut out the damaged area and graft in a new section. If you send them pictures of your damaged car, I am sure they will be able to make the bits you need. I imagine however, that the work involved scores 1 out of 10 on the 'fun things to do building a cobra'.

RE: helllo

yeah I phoned dax and asked them for advice and they are more interested in sending me the front half of the body from the door pilars and they say that it will sag basically they were rather negative on the subject of body repair
also they are going to want me to pay through the nose for body repair and as you say it does rate very low on the fun-o-meter it will cost a lot less and I would like to spend more money in other areas
