DAX steering

Just getting back to my build and hit the next problem.
does the supplied dax steering extension bar need cutting to size or am i doing things wrong.
any help will do

Hi Keith.
If the column ext bar is the right one it should need cutting down.

The best way to find out how much needs to be cut off is to fit the rack and the column (The column protruding through the bulkhead bush by no more than one inch), fit the two UJ's and lay the ext. bar across the gap.
Measure twice, cut once!
