Brodix Intake Manifold - No Space for Air Filter

I know this is a DAX forum but I have a RAM and there isn't a RAM Forum and the question I have is Engine orientated anyway. The car I have just bought has a Chevrolet 350 Engine fitted with a Brodix high flow manifold and a Holley (Model 4150) 750 cfm double pumper. The head is a Chevrolet /Bill Mitchell? cast iron with 64cc chambers and 1.6" exhaust. The problem is there is just no headroom for an air filter and as a result it is fitted with flour sieve!!
Apart from it being ugly, and looking like it belongs in a kitchen, it can't be doing my engine any good - does anyone have any solutions / suggestions.:}

RE: Brodix Intake Manifold - No Space for Air Filter

Ken

This is a forum for all types of cobra replica

There are various types of low fitting filters available - or can`t you fit a remote filter?

Just a thought
