Fitting the petrol tank

Hi,

Can anyone clear up this little bit of confusion for you.

When fitting the tank, can you do this before the body is on and when you lower the body for trial fitting mark the holes for the sender and filler pipe, then cut.

Or is there another way? Manual says trial fit, cut and then store away till later.

Any pointers appreciated.

Thanks

Michael

RE: Fitting the petrol tank

Hi Michael.
If you try to fit the body after the tank is fitted the tank outlets will hit the diff.......I think, i always fit the tank later.
