    De Dion Suspension Setup

While getting the lottery yesterday I noticed that the rear sits higher on the n/s than the o/s by almost 2".

Today I removed the wheels and checked the setup, as per Dax recommendations I set the damping to 10 clicks from zero (all the way back anti-clockwise). I also noted that both shocks were wound right down.

Is this normal or has one of my shocks gone?

To resolve do I just turn the castle nut a few threads until the car sits level?

    Any help appreciated.
Mmmmm... What shall I get next!

    Re: De Dion Suspension Setup

I found that after a couple of hundred miles when things settled I have to have lot more (about an inch) more adjustment on the right rear than the left.
    No lard arse jokes. :finger:
Also my battery is in the right rear wheel arch.
The car now sits level and handles fine.

    Michael

Park it on a flat concrete floor an measure each corner from chassis to floor and adjust shockers to suit, front and rear will probably differ depending on how you want the car to sit.

Mine now sits level with all 4 shocks set different

Well, I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, one of the things I enjoy most is turning beer, wine, Scotch and margaritas into urine.
