    Dax Anti-roll bar fixing plates

There's been quite a few threads about this before and now I'm having the same problem.
Can anyone tell me which way round the mounting plates go on?

The Dax guide indicates the tapered sides go toward the inside of the car, however they are closer to lining up with the anti-roll bar the other way round.

    Can anyone clarify this please?
    Cheers, John.

    Hey John.

Assuming you're talking about the original bits from the Jag that Dax's mounting posts go into? If so, I have the tapered edges facing the inside of the car, as you suggest. My guess is that I got this from the Jag manual as the original orientation. See the attached pic. Its a pain to get together - especially the bushes on the posts. Hot water helped alot.

See the attached pic. I have pics of my whole build, just ask if you want to see any others. Eventually they'll make it onto a website.

Andy, cheers for that at least I know you can get the anti-roll bar on with tapered edge facing in so I'll give it another go with it that way round.

Got rubbers on easy with a bit of oil, a socket and then pressed them on between the jaws of the vice, just can't get the bloody anti-roll bar to line up!!
