I use a Facet red top on a tuned 3.5 with SU's.
It is well up to the flow rate, but you have to limit the pressure to 2psi or it over powers the floats in the carbs and floods the engine. You can do this with an adjustable fuel filter/pressure regulator fitted in line. You can buy these with a guage fitted. The instructions say that you should remove the guage when the pressure is set, but mine has been there for 16,000 miles with no problem at all.
I don't know what pressure you should be running on your carb, but the info should be out there on the net.
Oh, just one more thing, the Facet pumps seem to work better when they are mounted low down, near to the tank. They don't seem to like being in the engine compartment high up on the bulkhead.
Cheers.
