Hi guys,
I am currently rebuilding a 350 chevy from a c4 corvette, the engine was in fantastic condition. My question is this, all the aformentiond bolts are in great condition. How many of you used the origonals and how many used arp replacments?

Re: Head, Con Rod & Mains bolts

Hi
I replaced all the above mentioned bolts. It is a small cost in the whole of cost of the rebuild, but can possibly save a costly re rebuild in the bottom end.

Definately agree with Colin, What is the cost of new bolts etc. compared with the hastle & frustration of a breakdown and having your car off the road!

Re: Head, Con Rod & Mains bolts

Thanks for your quick reply guys, did you have to have your con rods re-circled when you changed the bolts?
