mallory distibutors from the usa

hi all
i am after a mallory distributor [ unilite] electronic one for my rover v8
any way for some reasion thay are stupid money in uk hundreds of pounds,
so im am looking to buy one fron the good old USA.
the price for a mallory dual point $269 in dolers witch is £143 pounds
and a unilite electronic is $289 dolers witch is about £154 pounds.
my question is had any one inported a mallory distibutor from the usa and was it easy and was it worth it with the shipping costs invold,.
any help !!!!!!

I got mine in the UK so can't help on that, but, don't get the dualpoint as I did unless you enjoy continually adjusting points

ive got a mallory unilite at work that is new and i bought in error
find out what one from the states will cost and i will match it and you will save shipping costs

Thanks for that tinka. Tim, after a quick look they are around US$230. I need to check out which one i need first to make sure that it's the right one. Unfortunately i'm off to the sun (not the good kind) with work for a month. I'll do my homework while i'm away and if it's still available when i get back (and the right model), i'll PM you to do a deal.

I'm now back from the desert. I've had a look at the unilite distributors from the US. As per the previous posters, the best deal i could find was $285 from amazon US. If you're still looking to unload your spare distributor i am still interested. I'll PM to talk about price.
