Need a new SD1 Thermostat housing

ello,

anyone tell me where I can get a new SD1 thermostat housing?

Needs to be the same as the std car fit i.e. pointing around 45deg upwards and forward towards the driver side of the car. The one i've got has corroded at the hose joint area and so leaks...! :boohoo:

I tried Real Steel since a thread here said they did a cast one but they say they don't... can't be arsed to go to Rimmer Bros just yet...

Re: Need a new SD1 Thermostat housing

your post is a little baffling to say the least Dave

If you can't be arsed to get one from Rimmer Bros, how should people know where to tell you, that you can be arsed to get one from?

Re: Need a new SD1 Thermostat housing

Look at it this way.

In terms of the "can't be arsed" hierarchy, CRC Forum members are way above Rimmer Brothers!

Now all I have to do is establish if that is a good thing or bad.

Re: Need a new SD1 Thermostat housing

Hi,
Do you need a by-pass pipe on it , or is it just the standard SD1 thermostat housing you're looking for ?
Could you be arsed to buy a used one ?
Jim
