Chevy V8 Engine Casting numbers book

Just got this book delivered this morning and it has every single Chevy related casting/id number in it from 1955-1993 (block, manifolds, crank, carb, pumps, dizzy, you name it, it's got it). Far more detailed than the mortec site.

If anyone needs any info for SVA etc I'm more than happy to provide a photocopy, scan or maybe loan you the book (as long as I get it back for my SVA ).

It confirmed my engine was from a 1987 Camaro :thumb:

Re: Chevy V8 Engine Casting numbers book

Just looked up the first engine I had built which got broken in transit. It comes from a 1997 Taho . So it's a blessing in disguise it got smashed as it wouldn't have gone through SVA without CATS!!! I told the engine builder loads if times verbally and in writing it had to be a pre 90's engine block

What a stroke of luck that was though :thumb: Just a shame the builder couldn't get it correct the first time or you would of had all sorts of problems. :drive: :drive:
