Rover pump/filter ID

On my rover engine I have an oil cooler fitted. Just above the take offs for the oil cooler is a hose which feeds oil under pressure to the turbos fitted to the engine (see pic, nearest hose) I'm removing the turbos and want to know what to do with this oil feed. As it's under pressure, I presume I cant just blank it off. Is it a part that can be removed? (sorry, rover virgin here)

Simon

Re: Rover pump/filter ID

I'm a Rover Virgin too But I can see no reason not to just blank it off, At the end of the day it was purely an Extra feed and the rest of the engine was served with oil in the normal way :thumb:

Re: Rover pump/filter ID

Simon,
Just remove the fitting and screw a blanking plug into the Rover pump.
If you've any trouble getting the blanking bolt, give me a call and I'll send you one.
Is there an oil return pipe from the turbo ?
Regards
Jim
