Unhappy Hole in Head

Hello everyone,

I have a 5/8 hole in my sbc L/H head. I wonder if someone can confirm this is for the oil pressure sensor? If so when I insert the fitting do I need to seal it with anything?

Would welcome any advice

My water temp sender is on the left head .When sitting in car. Oil pressure is at the back of the block behind the dissy.

You said "I thought that was strapped on the down pipe to the Rad?"

Won't that be the fan switch sensor.
Temp gauge senders are normally in the head or manifold.......in my limited experience.

Smile Hole in head

Thanks everyone

I think I understand it now (soon see).

I don't know what I'd do without this club.
